They’re easy, cheap and delicious to make.
150g shredded Cheddar cheese
150g cream cheese
2 tsp chili powder
2 red peppers
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Step. 1: Cut the peppers in half and deseed them. Wash them and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
Step. 2: Mix the Cheddar cheese with the cream cheese and add the chilli powder. Mix it until it forms into a paste like a spread.
Step. 3: Spoon the spread into the peppers and with a knife smooth the surface on top.
Optional: If using bacon, cut the bacon into thin, long strips and gently wrap them around the peppers.
Step. 4: Let the peppers cook in the oven at 180 – 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
