Review Of The Day: Zaf Eatery + Coffeebar

Athens has so many options for delicious brunch and good quality coffee.

However, it is good to have a change from your local spot every once in a while and try somewhere new. Zaf Eatery + Coffee bar may just be your new favourite location to go to.

Zaf is located in Central Athens, next to Agias Irinis Square. There’s an outdoor seating area for all seasons, aswell as a large indoor seating area that makes up of two floors.

In the morning it is quieter, with just a few people catching up over coffee or tucking into some hot food that is made fresh daily.

Once it strikes 12pm, the restaurant is packed with people and as the day goes on, more and more people are looking for places to sit.

There is a reason why this restaurant stands out; the menu has healthy options, as well as hearty options and all for a decent price.

When you order coffee, they provide you a complimentary sweet snack which is comforting to have as you wait for your food to arrive.

A great recommendation would be to try the poached eggs on a muffin with avocado, tomato, coriander, spring onion and smoked salmon. It is a light brunch that is refreshing and the flavours strongly compliment each other.

If you’re looking for a hearty breakfast that isn’t too heavy, then you should try the Englishman breakfast that has fried eggs, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, bacon, baked beans and sausage. It also comes with crusty bread.
