Greek Yoghurt

A great breakfast idea is strained Greek yoghurt topped with fresh fruit such as banana, strawberries, mixed berries and is drizzled with honey.

Greek yoghurt is beneficial for bone health, since it is high in calcium. It can contain up to 10g of protein and it can help aid weight loss.

Pancakes can actually be healthy and made with simple ingredients. You can use 2 eggs, 1 mashed banana and 1 cup of oats or protein powder as your base ingredients.

Once you blend them together smoothly or whisk them together, you can fry them lightly in coconut oil or butter.

You can top them with either honey, melted dark chocolate, jam, chopped nuts or goji berries.

Oats contain at least 16.9g of protein. You can use them as a main ingredient for cookies, smoothies, energy balls and for porridge.

You can warm oats with water and almond or semi skimmed milk, until it becomes thick and creamy. You can top it with honey, nuts and banana.

Eggs

Eggs can be one of the cheapest sources of protein. You can have them boiled, scrambled, fried, baked or poached.

Eggs are also a good source of vitamin D, B12 and B6; these are also important for our bodies.

A great and filling breakfast is to have eggs with baked beans, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms.
