Whether you’re a Londoner or a tourist, Chinese food is always on the agenda.
However, you can find Chinese food practically anywhere and even have it delivered to you.
But what if you wanted to go somewhere as a group, or to impress someone who would be willing to try different dishes for the first time?
Here are three restaurants to consider for that.

Leong’s Legend
In the day this restaurant can be quiet, but it can pick up and get busy from 6pm and onwards.
It has a simple design, with wooden tables, dark walls and dimmed lights. In a way, it creates an atmosphere of ancient China, since they emphasise on the usage of traditional weapons as decorations.
You can find both Chinese and Taiwanese food, with a huge selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.
A great recommendation to try is the glutinous rice, the spring rolls, the spring onion pancake and the dumplings.
If you like spicy food, then you should definitely order the silken tofu with preserved eggs and the seabass in chilli sauce.

The Golden Dragon
This restaurant is huge and crowded and all for a good reason; their food is delicious.
With large tables for group dining and a upper restaurant style environment; it gives something between a casual yet fancy atmosphere.
They serve Cantonese and Pekinese food. You can find a variety of meat, fish, vegetarian, noodle and rice dishes here.
The dim sum is made fresh and each separate dish is full of flavour. A great recommendation would be to order all the dim sum dishes with prawn as a main ingredient for the filling.
It is best to book in advance in order to avoid a long waiting time to be seated.

This restaurant has a chilled atmosphere, but also has a decor and furniture that makes it casual but fancy at the same time.
It is also good for group dining, which means that it is a great spot to go for dinner with family, friends or even colleagues.
They serve traditional Chinese food, so therefore you can easily find your classic takeaway favourites on the menu, as well as new dishes to try.
A great recommendation would be the chicken in black bean sauce, the king prawn chowmein, Bok Choy, chicken satay and the salt and pepper squid.
