If you want to experience traditional Greek food, then this is the place to go to.

This little gem is open everyday apart from Mondays. It is located in the central area of Athens, which is called Thiseio.

They serve homecooked meals daily; varying from hot to cold dishes. A dish that is highly recommended and can be served as a starter or main is aubergine baked in a tomato sauce, with a layer of white cheese on top. Even the French fries served with this main are freshly made. It is so scrumptious, that this dish will make you feel like your grandma is cooking for you in the kitchen. In the Greek culture the grandma’s are the best cooks. Therefore, having that nostalgic feeling that you are at your grandma’s house is what this restaurant intends to do.

Another delicious and traditional dish that you have to try as a starter is Feta cheese baked with honey and sesame. The Feta cheese literally melts as you dig your fork into it, leaving you a sweet yet slightly salty taste in your mouth. You would never imagine that these three ingredients would all be in one plate; yet they go in perfect harmony together.

The menu caters to those who are vegetarian, vegan and meat eaters; so no one misses out on the Greek cuisine. There’s also a selection of seafood and fish to choose from. This restaurant is not heaving with tourists, but it is loved by the locals. The menu is also at a decent price.
