It’s not your typical brunch, but it’s totally delicious and worth trying!
Sitting in the heart of central Athens is an authentic Korean and Japanese restaurant called Dosirak. The menu has a wide range selection of traditional dishes from both cuisines, served both hot and cold.
One dish that is a must try is Bibimbap, which in translation in Korean means ‘mixed rice’. Not only is it a beautiful visual of different and familiar ingredients put together, but it has all the nutrients to get a boost for the day.
A typical filling in the bowl has warm white rice topped with namul (vegetables) and gochujang (chilli pepper paste), soy sauce, or doenjang (a fermented bean paste). It can also be served with meat and a fried egg on top, just like they serve it at Dosirak!

You can definitely use brunch as an excuse to eat sushi. In fact, I don’t think any time of the day is wrong for sushi. If you’re not willing to have sashimi in the late morning leaning to lunch time then that’s okay; as there are healthy vegetarian options too.
Koi Sushi Bar has taken up a storm in Greece, with branches that have opened up in different area’s. The most popular hotspot is in central Athens and it is always bustling with happy customers enjoying their platter’s of sushi.
