If you’re a fan of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit’ films then it is vital to visit the Hobbiton Movie Set. This picturesque private farmland has been recreated to look exactly the same as the film sets. If you take the guided tour, you will be able to see features from the film set such as the Hobbit Holes, The Green Dragon Inn, The Mill and the double arched bridge. The director Peter Jackson first spotted the Alexander Farm as the ideal film location whilst he was doing an aerial search in New Zealand’s North Island in 1999.
