As you step into Shrimp and Burger, you will instantly feel welcomed with open arms and great hospitality. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very laid back, with classic songs playing in the background that will bring you the feeling of nostalgia, along with the drink menus on whiskey bottles and brick walls that contrast against the blackboards that have illustrated drawings of food that they serve.

As you look at the food menu, you will be spoilt for choice. From the classic American ‘Sloppy Joes’, to the ‘drunken shrimp’. Not only do they serve classic American burgers, but they also have a selection of quirky combinations for burgers. Peanut butter in a burger anyone? Or why not try ranch beans in your burger? If you’re really willing to try something new, then you have the chance to try the new food trend; Mac ‘n’ Cheese in a burger. However, a great suggestion is the ‘Surf and Turf’ burger. This burger is oozing with flavour as you are able to combine both shrimp and burger into one, which is then complimented by Monterey Jack cheese, dill pickle and lettuce.

You must also try their milkshakes, as they are popular for their classic and eccentric flavours. From simply strawberry to salted caramel, your sweet tooth will definitely be satisfied. If you want to take it up a notch, then order one of their alcoholic milkshakes. Who would have ever thought that Jack Daniels Honey and Vanilla would go splendidly together as a milkshake? Or perhaps if you fancy something a bit tropical then try the excellent pair of banoffee Malibu and creme de banana.

Shrimp and Burger has gone above and beyond the classic American cuisine. They have carefully selected traditional dishes and have re-invented them into something unique and intriguing.
