As you walk down from Bournemouth beach and into a quieter street, you’ll come across an eccentric style building that is painted black, yet has beautiful and artistic graffiti covering the whole side of the building. As you walk through, you automatically step into their simple and laid back beer garden, where you can find the perfect spot under the sun or in the cool shade.
The atmosphere set out in this modern pub is very relaxed in the day, yet it is filled with lively entertainment and memorable moments in the night. From live bands to electric music, Sixty Million Postcards never fails to please you. However, the best day to go is on a Tuesday. Why? Because they serve the best damn burgers; two for the price of one.
If you have a big appetite, then it is highly recommended to try the Ruby Jean’s beef burger with emmental cheese, bacon, mushrooms, onion ring and an extra dill pickle on top. Once the burger arrives to your table, it will look like a monstrous tower of meaty goodness. At first, you wouldn’t know how to eat it without making a mess, but once you have your first bite, that thought will suddenly disappear as you’ll experience an incredible taste in your mouth. All ingredients compliment each other greatly, which is why this burger is oozing with flavour. So if you’re in Bournemouth and you’re a burger lover, then make your Tuesday worthwhile and stop by Sixty Million Postcards.
